3 Year Time Lapse

October 11, 2010 by Screening Room

While reading geek news Gizmodo this morning, I came across this cool time lapse of a building being torn down and replaced. The process took 3 years and 45,000 images. It’s funny how with all the buzz about video DSLR’s, time lapse photography has really started to shine lately on Vimeo and YouTube. Richard Harrington taught a seminar about time lapse motion at the PhotoCine Expo and Alex Buono from SNL talked about the use of it in the opening credits and on some other shows he’s working on.
