Double Robotics has invented a product called Double that turns your iPad into a 2000.00 telepresence robot so you can be there, without really being there.
After having a look at the video, I think that these guys are on to something. I can see the Double being used by location scouts for directors or even casting agents for remote castings. It’s pretty exciting if it works as well as it seems to work in the video below.
