What is the PhotoCine Expo?
PhotoCineNews Expo, the only event of its kind with a laser focus on DSLR filmmaking techniques and equipment, is proud to present a diverse line up of filmmaking veterans and break out stars of HDSLR filmmaking. Attendees will get to see and hear about HDSLR filmmaking techniques that are used in movie and TV production, while getting their hands on the latest gear.
PhotoCineNews Expo presents the only event of its kind with a laser focus on HDSLR filmmaking techniques and equipment that is sure to become the most talked about HDSLR event of the year. Michael Britt and Tom Stratton who produced last years hugely successful Collision Conference, the first ever conference about shooting HD Video with DSLR cameras, have joined forces with Lou Lesko to produce the PhotoCineNews Expo for 2010. The talented roster of speakers at the PhotoCine Expo include Shane Hurlbut ASC, Rodney Charters ASC, SNL Film Unit DP Alex Buono, Liam Finn and Vincent Laforet. Gail Mooney will be talking about her recent self funded HDSLR documentary that took her around the world in 90 days, and Nikon shooter Ami Vitale will be showcasing her motion work from exotic locals on the beautiful big screen at the Los Angeles Film School's main theater. Also not to be missed is a panel presentation from breakout filmmakers working guerilla style with visual effects.
The PhotoCine News Expo will be held at the prestigious Los Angeles Film School in their newly remodeled facilities and promises to be the most talked about HDSLR Filmmaking event of the year. Tickets are $75 per day at the door with student discounts available. Special expo show floor only tickets are $15 for access to the exhibitor booths showcasing the latest HDSLR gear.
