Green is the New Black Blue – Canon HDSLR Green Screen Shooting

Canon HDSLRs are a boon to low cost visual effects and seem to shine when used for green screen work. Shane Hurlbut mentioned earlier that green is better than blue when doing effects:

Adobe CS5 Webinar

May 10, 2010 by Webcast

Marcelo Lewin over at NewMediaWebinars is hosting a free webinar about Adobe CS5 on May 18th that should be of interest to photographer filmmakers who are thinking of updating Creative Suite.

It’s no secret that two of the biggest enhancements in CS5 are the Mercury Engine and the new metadata workflow. What is surprising is how much faster CS5 previews and renders, especially when editing H.264 based formats (like AVCHD or footage from the Canon EOS 7D) or encoding to H.264 formats.

The live event takes place on 5/18/2010 @ 10:00 AM PST to 11:30AM PST. More information and the link to register is on this page.
